Gracias
A Spanish phrase that conveys thanks or thankfulness.
Gracias (when offered by a toddler with no Spanish friends or acquaintances)
A sure fire sign that said toddler is watching too much Dora the Explorer. In advanced instances, the multi-lingual child may also refuse to go for a walk without a hand drawn “Map” and a backpack.
Thankfully this did not happen to us. It was a friend’s child. Honest.
